GOLF IS A BEAUTIFUL GAME!!! Don't let 'em tell you any different.
I have been an avid golfer since the first time I played almost twenty years ago. That day, on that dump of a course, a lot of thing changed for me. Golf has taught me a lot about patience, and love, and anger management, and life, and on and on and...well, you get the picture. It is a game that can be played by rich folks, poor folks, black folks, white folks...and we all hate it sometimes. I don't want to burst your bubble, but golf is no longer a game for the elite (see John Daly). I have played on courses that cost $7 to play, courses that cost $300 to play and everything in-between. I have played with siblings, broke-ass friends, and millionaires. ANYONE CAN PLAY!!!! So this is where it starts...
This site is just the beginning of a crusade to bring the game I love so much to as many people as I can. I want to teach and share all the joy and sorrow this game has given me. Whether you think this is a little overboard or not, you are probably right. But learn, live and love golf as I do and you will never find anything that touches you like this game. Fortunes are made and lost on golf courses across the country every day. It is the backbone of business and social communication on Sundays year round. This is my church, and the green is my altar.
